Who is Acoustic Hypnotherapy?

Welcome!

My name is Neal. Here is a little history.

It is my passion, drive, and life love, to help people. To understand what drives each of us. To help people find their true self and get rid of fear. I provide a space of non-judgement and safety. We all need to be heard and understood. It is through love and understanding that will bring us together and in touch with our higher selves.

I have been in the medical industry my whole life. My mom was an RN and I have a drive to know how the human body and mind works. I joined the Army when I was 17 on the delayed entry program. A soon as I graduated H.S. I was on a plane to Ft. Dix New Jersey. I studied Respiratory therapy at the Army Medical Academy in San Antonio, TX and became a licensed RT by the time I was 19. I was activated for Desert Storm and was in Saudi Arabia long enough to get lifetime VA benefits. I have experience in construction as a pipe fitter running the family business. I’ve been a territory manager for a international medical equipment company. I’ve been a small business owner selling printer ink and toner. As well as printer repair. I’ve been a MMJ medical consultant, and budtender, an Uber driver, property manager, professional photographer,

Throughout my 30 year career as a Respiratory Therapist, it became clear to me that a persons mental wellbeing played a huge part in their over all health and resilience to illness and the speed that they would recover from a sudden illness or trauma. As you can imagine. Patients who can’t breath are pretty anxious. Learning to gain a patients trust during those times of extreme fear and panic is challenging to say the least. Often times once the panic and fear was removed, the symptoms got better.

I left traditional medicine back in 2018. It was just time. I wandered for a while trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. Made some bad business decisions. Learned and failed a lot. Not just in the last few years. But, throughout my life. I ran the printer ink business for a while, then the Pandemic hit. What a mixed blessing! The printer business went south yet the time to go back to school opened up! I began taking class after class after class. Reading more than I had ever read in my life. I am still taking ongoing courses and continuing to learn and expand.

Currently, I am a Certified Clinical hypnotherapist. People ask what it’s mean to be a clinical hypnotherapist verses a regular hypnotherapist. A clinical hypnotherapist is a guide to help you over come clinical issues. Depression, trauma, bad habits, anger, stress, anxiety, eating habits, smoking, self esteem.

We work as a part of your team. Along with your doctors recommendations and guidance. Hypnotherapy and counseling should not be used as a replacement for medical care. It is a complementary therapy that has shown to be beneficial in pain management, recovery speed and reduction in symptoms as well in aiding in lifestyle changes needed in order to manage health and therapy.

I have, accredited, international certifications in:

CBT, NLP, REBT, Sound therapy. Reiki, Hand Mudra, and Mediation practitioner/teacher.

Use and practice polyvagal techniques.
